We Run This Beach Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K

The 2024 We Run This Beach Marathon and Half Marathon race weekend will be held on Sunday, February 25th, 2024, at 7:00 AM CST at the Gulf State Park Beach Pavilion in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
The Beachin’ 5k and 10k races will be held on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 starting at 8:00 AM CST.
This race promises a breathtaking and swift course, including scenic views of Lake Shelby, Middle & Little Lakes. The race starts and concludes near the Gulf State Park Lodge, and features flat, paved paths throughout Gulf State Park. This event is also an official certified Boston Marathon qualifying race.
Participants in the half-marathon and marathon will receive an official race finisher medals and a long-sleeve technical (moisture wicking) race shirt.
Post-race festivities include food for all finishers, two drink tickets, and post-race music, all set against the backdrop of the pristine white sandy beaches of Gulf Shores, AL.
Packet Pickup
- Friday: 5-8 pm at The Gulf State Park Lodge (available for 5k, 10k, Half, and Full participants)
- Saturday:
6:30-7:45 am at Lake Picnic Area (for Beachin’ 5K and 10K or Challenge participants)
12-5 pm at The Gulf State Park Lodge (Half Marathon, Marathon) - Sunday: 5:45-6:45 am at Gulf State Park Beach Pavilion (22250 E Beach Blvd Gulf Shores, AL 36542 US)
It is recommended to pick up your race packets either on Friday from 5-8 pm or Saturday from 12-5 pm to avoid long lines.

The first 500 participants who sign up will have the opportunity to park at this address. For participants beyond the first 500 (registrations 501 and above), a shuttle system will be available from the Gulf State Park Pier, situated just west of the Gulf State Park Lodge at 21196 E Beach Blvd, Gulf Shores, AL 36542.
