Two Rivers Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K

March 16 @ 8:00 am - March 17 @ 2:30 pm

The 2024 Two Rivers Marathon Race Festival will be held on Sunday, March 17th, 2024, in Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania. The festival features marathon, half-marathon, 10k, and 5k distances with the marathon and half marathon taking place on Sunday at 8:00 AM EDT, while the 10K and 5K races kick off at 9:15 AM EDT on Saturday. Participants in the marathon and half marathon have the option to start at 6:30 AM for those needing extra time or preferring a cooler run.

The race features a scenic route, highlighting rivers, bridges, and forests. It has earned prestigious titles such as the 2022 East Coast Championship Race by the Road Runners Club of America and a three-time Pennsylvania State Championship Marathon. Noteworthy achievements include being in the Marathon Maniac and Half Fanatics Spotlight race for 2023. For those aiming for the Boston Marathon, the festival’s Marathon is a certified qualifier.

First-time finishers, in all race categories, will be acknowledged with a special plaque and a finisher’s medal to mark their accomplishment. All events come equipped with aid stations, hydration support, and post-race food.

Two Rivers Marathon Course Information:

The race starts at Lackawaxen Park, 107 Scenic Drive, Lackawaxen, PA 18435, with clear signs guiding athletes and families to the designated parking area. Both courses highlight a terrain without significant climbs, maintaining a gradual incline of less than 1 percent, with mile marker signs at every mile and road surface paint for added guidance.

Making sure participants stay on course, turnaround points for the marathon, half-marathon, 10k, and 5k races are well marked. To stress the importance of these turns, there will be multiple indicators, including signs, ground markings, cones, and additional signs, reducing the likelihood of missed turns.

The race concludes at 106 Scenic Dr., Lackawaxen, PA, providing a clear and memorable finish line for all participants.
