ORRRC Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k

The 2024 ORRRC Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10k will be held on Sunday, April 7th, 2024, in Xenia, Ohio. The race starts at 8:00 a.m. and features scenic, fast courses through the town of Xenia, Ohio. The race is a community tradition that has been going strong for over 50 years.
The races run concentric paths, with the same start, turn-offs for the half-marathon and 10K, and the same finish line. The course starts at the Xenia YMCA, then runs into downtown Xenia before touring some of its neighborhoods, and finally, using a mix of scenic rail-trails and neighborhood streets to guide you home to the finish line. This is a great race to use as a Boston Qualifier.
Finishers in the marathon and half-marathon will receive a medal when they cross the finish line. There are also excellent awards for competitors, including Runner’s Plus gift cards for our overall event male/female winners.
2024 ORRRC Marathon Race Details
The marathon, half marathon, and 10K will all commence simultaneously at 8:00 am from the Xenia YMCA. Please note, that there are no provisions for early or late starts; participants must be present and ready on the start line by 8:00 am.
A strict pace guideline of 13:45 minutes per mile has been established for all race categories. This translates to an approximate pace of 6 hours for the marathon, 3 hours for the half-marathon, and 1 hour and 25 minutes for the 10K. Participants who cannot maintain the prescribed pace will either be redirected or transported back to the Xenia YMCA.
Each participant will have the option to opt-out of receiving a race shirt during registration. If you choose to decline a race shirt, you will receive a $10 discount off your registration fee!
Race packets can be collected from the Xenia YMCA, located at 336 Progress Dr, Xenia, OH 45385. Collection timings are scheduled for Saturday, April 6th, 2024, between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm, or on the race day, Sunday, April 7th, 2024, from 6:00 am to 7:30 am. We strongly recommend picking up your race packet on Saturday to avoid any potential rush on race day.
Aid Stations
Aid stations are strategically positioned approximately every two miles. The Marathon course will have a total of 11 water/Gatorade aid stations and 5 gel stations for runners’ convenience.

Marathon: $65 (8:00 AM EDT – 2:00 PM EDT)
Half-Marathon: $55 (8:00 AM EDT – 11:00 AM EDT)
10K: $45 (8:00 AM EDT – 9:30 AM EDT)
Prices will increase after January 31, 2024, at 11:59 PM EST.
