Havasu Half Marathon and 5K
March 2 @ 7:00 am - 11:30 am
The 2024 Havasu Half Marathon and 5K will be held on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at London Bridge Beach in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The Half Marathon kicks off at 7:00 am, followed by the 5K at 10:00 am, both starting and concluding their routes at London Bridge Beach, just steps away from the water’s edge.
Upon completing the 13.1 or 3.1-mile journey through Havasu, participants are invited to join the post-race festivities. This celebration offers convenient access to post-race refreshments designed to aid immediate recovery. For participants aged 21 and over, The Hangar 24 Beer Garden awaits, serving some of Arizona’s finest brews. Each finisher is rewarded with a complimentary beer, and additional beer tickets can be purchased on-site.
Havasu Half Marathon Race Expo and Packet Pickup Information
Race Expo (March 1st, 2024):
- Location: London Bridge Beach
- Health and Fitness Expo: March 2nd, 2024 (4:30 pm to 7:30 pm)
- Bib Pickup: Bring ID; waiver signed in person; no need for a confirmation email.
- Bib pickup for others: Bring a copy of their ID and a signed waiver.
- Options if unable to attend on Friday:
- Check In Pick Up (at select hotels)
- VIP Packet Pick Up (race morning)
- Bib Mail (bib mailed one week before; shirt pickup on race day)
- Add-on services are available through the Run Sign Up account.
Race Day Packet Pickup (March 2nd, 2024):
- VIP Race Day Packet Pickup for Half Marathon: $40 fee at London Bridge Beach.
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before race time; bibs and shirts distributed before the race.
Parking
- Get There Early and Leave Late: Limited spaces near Javalina Cantina, suitable for early arrivals. However, expect delays entering and leaving, making it ideal for slower walkers or those planning an extended stay.
- Easiest Option at Studio/Motel 6: Free parking for participants after 6:45 am. Inform police if delayed at an intersection; parking is about 500 yards from the start/finish.
- Overflow/Fallback Option at Lake Havasu Marina: Participants can park for free in the Marina’s dirt lot by showing their bib. Short walk to the start line.
Water Hydration and Aid Station
Hydration and First Aid Stations: Nine stations along the course.
- Five stations have port-o-potties.
- Two stations offer gels.

- 1.25: Parking lot across from KOC, next to Motel 6 (Toilet available).
- 2.5: Bridge side of Industrial Blvd (Gels available).
- 3.75: Kirk Drive (Toilet available).
- 4.1: Sunset Drive (Toilet available).
- 5.25: Bridge side of Industrial Blvd (Gels available).
- 6.75: Parking lot across from KOC, next to Motel 6 (Toilet available).
- 8.1: Top of the hill, entering the resort parking lot.
- 9.75: Island trail (Toilet available).
- 11.5: Entrance to Grand Island Drive.

Half Marathon Course Map
Enjoy a walker-friendly 4-hour course along the Colorado River in Lake Havasu City, starting and ending at the beach. The flat route stays close to the river and includes iconic moments at miles 1 and 9 with the London Bridge. A great opportunity for a personal record (PR). The finish line leads to a beach party with water cooling and a beer garden featuring Arizona’s finest brews. Experience the lively Havasu Spring Break season in March/April.
5K Course Map
Similar to the Half Marathon, the 5K starts at the beach, goes over London Bridge, loops around the London Bridge Resort parking lot, and returns to the starting point. Enjoy the Colorado River breeze on your way to the finish line party.
