Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy describes how cancellations, refunds, and pauses work for RunBuzz coaching subscriptions purchased through runbuzz.com (Run For Performance LLC).
Summary
- Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. To avoid the next charge, you must cancel before your renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period; you keep coaching through that period.
- Monthly subscriptions: the current billing month is non-refundable once it has begun, since coaching for that month is already being delivered.
- Quarterly (3-month) subscriptions: a prorated refund of unused time is available within the first 14 days, calculated at the standard monthly rate. After 14 days, quarterly subscriptions are non-refundable except under the injury exception below.
- Injury exception: if a significant injury prevents you from training, your subscription is paused at no cost. If we are unable to resume within 4-6 weeks, the unused portion is refunded or credited to a future coaching block.
- Manual invoicing alternative: if you prefer to be invoiced via emailed Square invoice instead of automatic recurring charges, that is available for a $10/month service fee.
Cancellation and auto-renewal
All RunBuzz coaching subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or every 3 months) until you cancel. To avoid being charged for the next period, you must cancel before your renewal date.
You may cancel at any time by contacting me directly or through the customer portal link included in your Stripe billing emails. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period. You retain full access to your training plan, scheduled sessions, and any included services through that period.
There is no contract and no cancellation fee.
Monthly subscription refunds
Coaching is a service-based product. Once a billing month begins, the training plan, communications, and any scheduled sessions for that month are considered delivered. The current month is non-refundable.
You will not be billed for any future months after cancellation.
Quarterly (3-month prepay) subscription refunds
The quarterly rate reflects a discount offered in exchange for a 3-month commitment.
Within 14 days of purchase: you may request a refund of the unused portion of your subscription. The refund is calculated at the standard monthly rate, not the discounted quarterly rate, since the discount was tied to the 3-month commitment. Any specialty services that have already been delivered (see below) are also deducted from the refund.
After 14 days: quarterly subscriptions are non-refundable except under the injury exception below. You may still cancel any future quarterly renewal at any time, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current 3-month period.
Injury exception
If you sustain a significant injury that prevents you from training, your subscription is paused at no additional cost while you recover. If we are unable to resume training within 4-6 weeks of the pause start, you will receive either:
- A refund of the unused portion of your current billing period, or
- A credit applied to a future coaching block when you are ready to resume training.
The choice is yours. To request a pause, contact me as soon as the injury occurs.
Already-delivered services
The following items are always non-refundable once provided, regardless of which subscription tier or billing period they were included in:
- Custom training plans that have been written and delivered to you
- Zoom check-ins or coaching calls that have taken place
- Slow-motion video form analysis sessions that have been completed
- Custom nutrition plans that have been delivered
- Race-week or race-day support that has been provided
Manual invoicing alternative
If you prefer to pay via emailed Square invoice instead of an automatic recurring charge, that arrangement is available for a $10 per month service fee. This option does not change the refund, cancellation, or injury-pause terms above. Contact me to set this up.
Chargebacks and disputed charges
If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized, please contact me first. Most billing issues can be resolved within 1-2 business days. I ask that you reach out before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company so we can address the concern directly.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of coaching services after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Changes will not be applied retroactively to existing prepaid quarterly periods.
