Cottonwood Vintage Run

The 2024 Cottonwood Vintage Run formerly known as the Brian Mickelsen Marathon will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Riverfront Park, in Cottonwood, Arizona. This event was created as a way for Cottonwood to engage its citizens in a fun and healthy activity while highlighting the natural beauty of the local area. The four competitive runs, half marathon, 10k, 5k, and 2 mile run, feature the same breathtaking courses that have highlighted the beauty of Cottonwood and its surrounding areas since the inception of this race.
All courses kick off at the Riverfront Park Ramadas, providing a central location to gather for participants and spectators alike.

10K
The 10K course meanders mainly on road and sidewalk, offering a scenic journey through the enchanting Dead Horse Ranch State Park, cradled between Sycamore Canyon and Mingus Mountain.
5K
This 5K promises a lively adventure through Arizona’s Wine Country. Runners traverse from Old Town Cottonwood to the picturesque Jail Trail.
2 mile
Whether you prefer running or walking, explore the route from the Riverfront Ramada area to Dead Horse Ranch State Park’s main gate and back. Despite the flat terrain, the stunning scenery promises to elevate your experience with a touch of awe.
Registration
To register, visit the official website of Cottonwood Vintage Run. Register by February 29 to secure the current rates, as they will be subject to an increase starting March 1.
The registration fees are as follows:
- Half Marathon $55
- 10k $35
- 5k $35
- 2 mile $25
