In this episode, I speak with Darris Blackford, the Race Director for the Nationwide Columbus Marathon and Half Marathon. Besides being the race director, Darris is an accomplished runner who has run over 200 marathons and ultra-marathons including the Badwater 135 and Burning River. In this episode, we talk running, races, pace teams, pace bands, this year’s 40th anniversary of the Columbus Marathon and Half Marathon and we share lots of memories and running tips from the race. I also share news and the latest information for the 2019 RunBuzz community meetup, hosted here in Columbus Ohio on marathon weekend (October 20th, 2019). All this and more coming up on today’s show.
